Subscribing to creators is very easy. We've written up some frequently asked questions on how to subscribe to a creator profile:
How do I subscribe?
If you are on the profile page of the creator, click the 'Subscribe' button. If you haven't got a XYLOspace account, you will need to create one before you can make a payment.
Once you have subscribed to one creator you can easily subscribe to others using the same payment and billing details. If you have not found the creator you want to subscribe to, create an account and then search for the creator using the search tool.
Why do I have to be over 18 to subscribe?
All content on XYLOspace is only available once you have paid a monthly subscription. In order to create a subscription you will need a payment card which would require you to be over the age of 18.
How secure is my payment?
We do not store any payment information on our servers, therefor all transactions are encrypted and secure. We take payment security very seriously and have ensured we have used the most secure technology to handle your payment.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept most brands of Visa Debit cards, Visa credit cards and Mastercards. You can also use pre-paid Visa and Mastercards. Currently we do not accept any other payment method but are continuously looking to add new options.
Why can't I pay by PayPal, Paytm, Dwolla, Apple Pay, Google Checkout or similar?
Due to the nature of some of the content on XYLOspace, we cannot offer these payment methods. We understand the benefits of using such payment providers however his is not our choice but the guidelines of the individual payment companies.
Why am I unable to subscribe?
The most common reasons are expired payment information, miss-entered payment details, insufficient funds, or in most cases the issuing bank has blocked the charge. You'll want to reach out to your bank directly to make sure everything is accurate and nothing is blocking the transaction.
If you continue to have issues making a payment, contact us using the chat facility for further support. .
What is 3D secure/payment verification password?
This is a code you will be required to enter once you have submitted your payment details. It is like the Internets version of putting in a 4 digit card number when paying at a retail store. In order for the transaction to be completed this has to be entered. In some cases the website will connect with your bank automatically to verify the code and you will not need to enter a code. In some cases and countries you will be sent a code via sms/text. This code does not come from the website and is sent by your bank. If you do not receive the code please contact your bank.
What currency do you charge in?
You will be charged in your local currency, if we have the currency as an option. If we do not support your local currency you will be charged in US Dollars ($).
Why can I see different subscription prices for the same creator?
This is because prices are displayed differently depending on where you are in the world. If you are in the EU we have to charge local VAT on the subscription. If you are not in your home country, the VAT will be calculated based on where the payment card is registered. This does not affect the creators earnings.
When is my renewal payment taken?
Renewal payments will be taken on the same date each month. If you subscribe to more than one creator, all renewals will be grouped into one payment cycle.
Example:
You subscribe to your first creator on Jan 1st. A renewal payment will be taken for that subscription on the first of each month. You then subscribe to a second creator on Jan 10th. Your renewal payment will be grouped with your first subscription and a payment for both will be taken on Feb 1st. The cost of the renewal of the second subscription will be less than usual as we deduct the cost of 9 days which you would have paid. We group renewals into a payment cycle to minimise the number of transactions being made on your card.
How do I cancel a subscription?
You can easily manage and cancel your subscriptions in the 'Your Account' section. If you cancel a subscription, you can continue viewing that creators content until the subscription expires.
How much of my subscription go to the creator?
The creator receives 100% off the subscription amount once we have taken our transaction and maintenance fees.
